Bender Cain Interviews ABS founder & CEO Ana Tudoracheand

So, Ana what did you do before you co-founded ABS Studios. I’ve been in the industry since the day I turned 18. As model then trainer and in 2013 I opened Aphrodite Studio –the studio that led to what we now call ABS.  

What did you do before you entered the live webcam industry? I was last year of high school when I started as a model, so other than a few summer jobs as a waitress and call center operator for an IT company, I practically grew up in the webcam industry.

How did you and your partners come up with the idea for Abs Studios? With the name is a funny story…it came to us at a coffee shop in Prague and it seemed obvious for all of us…Our models were already known as Aphrodite Boys on the site, former studio (Aphrodite) had already won 3 “Best male studio” awards that year and ABS (Aphrodite Boys & Stefano) just seemed right when merging 2 already known brands. Plus, it was quite catchy and suitable for a male studio.

Now, Ana, I knew that Abs Studios is an all-male studio exclusively for male cam models, so what is the main difference between working with male models versus working with female models?  My personal opinion is that the main difference is the atmosphere in the studio. I have worked with both female and male models in the past as trainers and men are a lot more relaxed and fun than women are.

 How long have Abs studios been in business?  Aphrodite was opened on March 1st2013, so 6 years ago. We were rebranded in 2017 into ABS Studio.

How many models do you have working with Abs studios? We have 40 active models at this moment.

About how many rooms do you have at the studio? Our studio has 20 themed rooms. 

know that Abs studios have won multiple awards including the Aw summit award and several awards from Bucharest Summit so how does it feel to of been recognized for your work at Abs studios? It is 2 Awsummit awards, 2 Bucharest summit, 1 YNOT, and 1 LiveCamAwards. The feeling is great knowing that you are the only male studio ever awarded in this category until now. We are proud and grateful at the same time.

Ana, can you tell us a little bit about the Aphrodite boys’ website? Aphroditeboyslive.com is our flirt4free white label site. 

Ana, you have formed a wonderful partnership with a man I can only describe as a legend in the live webcam community the one and only Stefano can you tell us a little bit about this partnership?  We were introduced by Miguel from Flirt4free right after the 2016 AWSummit. I had the Aphrodite Boys Pool Party project in mind and he was just right as host for that project. I asked him if he was interested and he accepted. While working on that project we connected well and we became friends. At Flirt Summit in 2016, Greg Clayman (F4F president) asked us why don’t do another project together as we seem to work quite well so we decided to build a bigger and better studio. As you say, he is a legend in our field and I couldn’t be prouder I have him as a friend and business partner. I have learned a lot from him.

Speaking of Stephano we have been Interviewed Stephano in a previous issue of CamLife magazine and what a wonderful experience it was just a great guy very professional hard-working very humble so what is it like to work with such an icon in the live webcam community?  Fun. Stefano is indeed a very professional and hard-working person but he also is very understanding and fun. He is the calmest person I ever met and always calms me down when I become nervous.

Now, of course, Stefano is known among the live webcam community not only for his work as a performer but also as a very diligent businessman who has done an amazing job of building a brand how much of Stefano’s experiences in this area help grow your business?  A lot! He is a great motivation for our models and he is living proof of what you can accomplish when you work hard in this industry. Not all studios have such a person to show models that the sky is the limit if you work hard –we do.  

Can you tell us about your relationship with flirt4free?  As you can see in my other answers Flirt4free is a big part of what we became today. They were the first ones that supported our ideas when no one else thought they were good. Flirt4free are not just business partners, they are our friends and I will always be grateful for what they have done for us. 

What can a top male model be working with Aphrodite boys and Abs studios? We have more than one top model’s in the studio but I guess the most popular is Briann Smith (LiveJasmin record for earning/ period holder) and Dylan Green (who won Bucharest Summit 2017 and LiveCamAwards 2018 “Best Male Model” Award). They also are the first official Aphrodite Boys.

Now, Ana, we here at Cam Life Magazine believe with live webcam industry is more than just a multi-billion-dollar business it is community performers and entrepreneurs the truly want to see each other do well what are your thoughts on this? think it is a very tight community in which everyone knows everyone. And yes, I for one got help every time I asked for it so I guess I agree with you. There is also natural competition but overall people help each other.

What are your thoughts on new technologies within the live webcam industry such as VR?  I do not think at this point we are prepared for it just yet because of the glasses customers need to experience this. I am looking forward to the moment someone will invent holograms, but I guess VR is the first step towards that.

As a businesswoman in the live webcam industry, what are some obstacles you had to overcome to achieve your success?    I don’t think I have encountered any obstacles. I am lucky this way.

I spoke with Thomas Pedersen the CEO of Diva traffic who spoke very highly of you and your studio for me as a business owner that is one of the greatest payoffs is having positive feedback from other members of the live webcam community so what are your thoughts on this?  Thank you, Thomas! I can only feel good when important people such as him speak so well about me. I love my work and the industry and have such nice feedback proves to me that I am going on the right track to becoming even better.

What goals do you have for abs Studios in the next 5 years? Keep growing the way we have and open locations in other countries also. 

What kind of training do you offer the models at abs Studios? We have English and acting classes in the studio. We train the models daily and as it is a growing industry the learning never stops. 

Do you have any plans to franchise? I don’t think we could keep our identity our “soul” –as Greg would say if we would franchise it. No plans of that. 

Where do you see the future of the live webcam industry as a whole in the next 5 years? Mainstream… or at least that is what I dream of.
