Bender Cain Interviews Catherine Tayler

Hello Catherine how are you, before we start I want to thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to sit down with us here at Cam Life Magazine to answer some questions for our readers.

Now, Catherine, we spoke on video chat about a week ago and I think we really hit it off, so how long have you been Camming? I have been camming since Aug 12, 2009 🙂

What made you decide to become a live Cam model? An ex mentioned it way back and I never forgot about it. I tried one night and was instantly addicted. I never looked back

What did you do before you became a cam model? I actually did customer service for 3 provinces for a window company and was in charge of an installation crew. Before that, I was a taxi owner.

How did your family and friends feel about your decision to become alive Cam model? I never hid it. Anyone of any importance has stuck by my side and have been supportive and encouraging. When I think back to how everyone told me they knew or if I had to tell someone, it’s so funny! I really am lucky!

Do you have anyone special in your life? I do! I met and married after I was already in camming for 1.5 years.

Okay, Catherine let’s hop in the Cam Lifetime machine lol so what was your first day on cam like? Oh boy! LMFAO I was so excited all day that day. I was in college so I started that evening. I logged on and had no idea what to do! I was fully dressed, layered actually, and I was overwhelmed. I had never seen anyone do this, so no guidance. I called the customer service line of the site. I told them I was a new model and I had no idea what to do. The dude said to me that I could sit and just talk, but doing more would bring me more money (I got the hint)… I logged back in and that night I had the best group of dudes guide me with the no-nos and tipping me to just say dirty words cause I just couldn’t. That was my first experience.

How do you think you have grown as a live Cam performer since you first started camming? I can talk dirty now lol!!! I definitely have gained confidence in myself over the years. I’ve come out of my shell so to say and am more apt to try new things.

What is a typical day like for you on cam? I start between 6 and 8 each day. Usually, I start with a bath and a huge smoking session. Then I do myself up for the day. This is all done in voyeur. I do have regs at reg times so I know when they come and I do
get interrupted to be naughty haha then I do a couple of hours of shows and go voyeur again to clean, bake, cook, teach myself something new, etc.(This is all done naked). Then I do shows till I am done for the day. While I am doing all this I am also doing all my socials.

What is a typical day for you when you are not on Cam?Netflix and chill. Usually these days I go to get my hair done or shop. I am pretty much on cam every day all day. If I am away for more than a day, it means I am traveling and still I cam while I am away too.

What is on your playlist? Volbeat, Michael Jackson, Megadeth, Warrant, Marilyn Manson, CharliePuth, Snoop, 50 cent.

If you had to spend a week alone on a desert island what three things would you bring with you?A blanket, my kindle, and Mascara.

Do you have any guilty pleasures?

Can you tell us a little bit about your tattoos? I got my first tattoo when I was 14. I got many tatts over the years but the originals are all covered up. I knew as a little girl I would grow up and get tats. My tats have no meaning at all. I have amazing memories around each one, but nothing really meaningful, just the things I love that include fantasy art, skulls, and daisies.

All right as we’ve already established you have been camping for around9 years and you’ve been nominated and won several awards for your work in the live webcam Community what was this like to be recognized for all your hard work? Absolutely awesome. Incredible. Rewarding. It is an amazing feeling to have your fans, friends, and the people silently surrounding you to reward you. Thinking about it makes me tear up every single time.

Now when we spoke last week we spoke about how strong the live webcam industry is as a community, not just a billion dollar business what are your thoughts on this? It’s absolutely true. Camming can be very isolating when you choose it as your profession and it can be frustrating and discouraging at times. Over the years I have made some incredible friends and we help each other out in so many ways not only professionally, but emotionally as well. Without our community, we don’t have anyone with a real understanding.

Do you have any advice or tips for new cam models just entering the light webcam community? Don’t come into it thinking you can stay secret. Do not do anything you do not want to do and don’t be afraid to say no, money is not worth it. Do not trust just anyone, your safety is first. ASK QUESTIONS!!!

We connected originally because we share a mutual friend Lauren from 7 Veils who I know has been not only a friend but as I mentored a cheerleader for you can you tell us a little bit about this relationship?Oh, who doesn’t know Lauren LOL!!! I met Lauren at a show, I think it was 2013, I think. She knows my hubby and he introduced us. The instant friendship that built over the years. I see her on almost every trip I have gone to so I have traveled the world with her. At this point, she is not allowed to not be my friend lol

I also know that you are frequent attendee it Phoenix forum in Arizona what are their trade shows do you frequent?Yes, I go to the Phoenix Forum every year. I also make it a point to go to Miami For Xbiz and will continue to do so. I go to exxxotica NJ and sometimes the other ones. I attend as many B2B shows as I can to meet who is working for me in the back end

Would you say you are a dog or a cat person?Toughy! I own 2 beautiful pits and 6 dragons. I prefer cats though I don’t have one hmmm 

I’m a little curious because I’m getting ready to write a review on the Netflix film cam I’ll be honest I thought it was a great film written by a former cam model what did you think about the film if you’ve seen it yet?I do like it. super interesting.

What are your goals as he lives webcam performer?My goal is to continue my addiction to camming and help hard-working girls to succeed. I will continue making vids and clips for sale as well. I do not see an end to camming and look forward to watching it continue to grow!

What are your goals outside of the live webcam community? I’m thinking of Barber School and opening a shop. This changes every year lol but for 2 years I’ve been thinking about it.

What can new viewers to your show expect viewing your show for the first time?

What would you say set your cam show apart from other cam models?I live my entire life online. There’s a little something for everyone.Plus there is no-one like me hahaha

How important do you think it is to build a connection with your member’s cam?It is really important to build connections with every member, spenders or not, for so many reasons. I have members that have been coming around for 10 years!

What is the kinkiest request you’ve ever gotten from a member? Hmmm, my dudes are pretty tame… there was a dude who would come to a lot and ask for plastic bags. he would request me to make one a skirt and one tank. Then it has to pour baby oil down the ‘tank” and just make tons
of noise with the bags…
