Bender Cain Interviews Ella Silver

Bender- Once again Ella thank you so much for taking the time to answer some questions for our readers. So Ella what did you do before you decided to become a live Cam model?- Ella, I lived in Italy! I owned and ran a horse riding stable in Tuscany for 6 years. Before that, I was a model and a catwalk model in London.

Bender- So what made you choose a career as a live webcam performer? Ella – had just moved back from Italy to the UK to be closer to my family. A friend, who at the time was a cam model, mentioned I might be good at it. Turns out she was right! I’ve always been an extrovert and an exhibitionist, so the thought of entertaining the masses, via the web seemed like so much fun!

 Bender – I understand that you were quite the world traveler growing up can you tell our readers about this? Ella –  Well I was born in Orlando Florida and then moved to the UK when I was8 years old. Hence why I have an English accent! I then went to school in Cambridge and remained in Cambridge till I decided to move to Italy at 18. I’ve traveled to most of Europe modeling and most states in the USA.

Bender – How long have you been Camming? Ella –  I have been a Myfreecams model for 3 years!

Bender- Ella like many live webcam performers you taken advantage of opportunities the many out there to generate multiple streams of income and scale your brand are you using tools like manyvids, and pornhub how important is using these other methods to generate income to your Independence as a live cam performer? Ella – It’s incredibly important to always diversify your income. The more pies you have your fingers in, the quicker you progress. I think of it like a house, and roads leading to your house. If you have one road you have limited traffic. The more roads you have, the more traffic can arrive at you. It does however mean a hell of a lot more work!

Bender- We here at Cam Life Magazine believe that the live webcam industry is more than just a multibillion-dollar industry what a community of performers and entrepreneurs truly want each other to do well what are your thoughts on this? Ella – I’ve personally never really had a large group of friends. Then I found camming and the thousands of kind and open-minded humans that make up this community. We all deal with a lot of stigmas and unnecessary hate on a daily basis. It makes our community, of standing by each other and supporting each other, that much stronger. This is the most amazingly talented group of people I have ever met in my life and I’m proud to be a part of it. I believe that this industry is changing the world for the better by spreading love and educating the masses on stigma.

Bender – Ella if you were going to Mentor someone new to the industry what three things would you advise them to grow as a brand? Ella- First and foremost, stick at it! Get into a routine and have set hours you log on every day. Be as present as you can be on all social media platforms at all times of the day in order to market yourself to all time zones.

Secondly, work on yourself. It’s easy to look at more successful models and become resentful that you aren’t achieving that yet. Concentrate on falling in love with the game and your job. If you enjoy what you do, success will automatically follow. 

Thirdly, network! I see a lot of models isolate themselves in fear of losing work to “competition”. I can’t stress enough that networking and talking/ sharing with other models will OPEN doors not close them.

Bender – How important is social media for growing your brand? Ella – Very! 90% of new customers and income comes from my social media. It’s becoming increasingly more difficult for people in the adult entertainment industry to publicize their businesses on social media. Keep at it and use as many platforms as possible. Getting your image out is important and the more visible you are the better. 

 Bender – What social media do you use? Ella – I have Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and Snapchat premium. I also have only fans, MFC share, Manyvids, Porn hub, and Model Hub I post to. My Twitter and Instagram are @Ella_SilverMFC and my Snapchat is Ella-Silver. PornHub is just Ella Silver!  

Bender –  Ella I know you attend a lot of events what is it like interacting with your fans in person? Ella – I adore meeting fans. I’ve only ever met amazing supportive fans and I wish I had more opportunities to. It’s wonderful to put a face to a user name! 

Bender –  Of course, we know most of the fans in the live webcam Community are great but not everybody is well behaved so how can you deal with rude disrespectful fans who are cyberbullies on social media? Ella – Everyone deals with bullies differently. I tend to ignore them entirely. The more energy you give to people that enjoy inflicting pain the more they get off. I won’t give them that satisfaction. I also don’t believe that someone else opinion of me is my reality. Everyone is entitled to an opinion. I don’t have to agree with it.  

Bender – I understand that you have a love for horses can you tell us a little bit about that? Ella – I’ve been horse riding for 25 years! It was my first love and taught me so much about life and hard work. I’m pretty good at it and miss itan awful lot as I don’t have time anymore. The goal is to be financially comfortable enough, I can afford to have a house and horses again.

Bender – If you had to spend a week alone on a desert island what three things would you bring with you? Ella – Assuming I had the basics to survive and shelter….. I’d probably take a book, stuff to draw with and a camera!

Bender – What are your goals within the live webcam industry as a performer? Ella – I’d quite like to win an MFC crown. I have some live shows I’d love to broadcast, like a fire show on the beach or cam at some cool destinations. I’d also like to become a top performer on Pornhub. I’ll achieve them all…. Just takes time and money! 

Bender – Do you have any goals within the industry besides being a performer?  Ella – I’d really love to work for the company as a mediator between performers and the other side of the industry. I’m very good at networking and I love organizing events/ helping people achieve their goals I’d also really like to work with a company that provides support to sex workers. I’d like to help this community as it gave me so much and I want to give back.

Bender – What made you choose MyFreeCams as your platform? Ella – only knew of MFC through my friend who cammed on the site. Luckily it’s the best site for my style of camming!

Bender – What do you like most about being a part of the live webcam community? Ella – The open-minded individuals and love. The ability to be creative and monetize absolutely anything. The doors that it has opened for me and the places around the world it has taken me.

Bender – What do you like the least about the live webcam community?  Ella – The close-minded individuals. The public still very much looks down on our industry. It’s an uphill battle constantly to try and teach people that we love our job and that it’s liberating to be comfortable with our bodies. People are afraid of change and stigma and don’t really want to listen to what you have to say. Especially family in a lot of cases.

Bender – What sets your webcam show apart from other hand models? Ella – I don’t think my webcam shows are any better than any other model. There is a fetish/entertainer/model for everyone’s taste. My room is very lively and lots of joking around. Some people find it overwhelming! I put a lot of effort into my sexual shows too. I have a saddle with a dildo attached to it that I ride. I enjoy myself a lot and it shows!

Bender – Do you have a set schedule that you go by for camming? Ella – I am online every day at 9:30 PM GMT and I stay online as long as people are enjoying themselves and I’m making money.

Bender – How did you come up with your stage name?  Ella – Ella because its easy to remember and to type and Silver because I had silver hair at the time when I signed up! 

Bender – Do you have any guilty pleasures? Fashion. I’m well known for my extra outfits. I like to look my best always and I adore keeping up with the latest trends without following them.

Bender – Okay so Ella what is on your Playlist? It’s so eclectic! When I’m driving I like to listen to EDM. If I’m relaxing at home and doing chores I listen to classical music and on cam, we listen to a lot of classic rock!

Bender – Do you have any other projects that you’d like to tell our readers about? Ella –  Not that I’m allowed to tell you about yet! Watch this space!

Bender – Can you tell us a little bit about your tattoos? Ella –  There isn’t much to tell. I’m rather spontaneous and all my tattoos I had the idea or saw the image and got them done immediately. They have no meaning to them other than I liked the images!

Bender – As you know Ella you are this issue’s cover model what was your reaction when you found out you were getting the cover even before the interview was finished pretty much guaranteed the cover what was your reaction? Ella – t’s an honor. I cannot wait to see it all put together. I can’t thank you enough and it’s been such a pleasure working with you. I feel incredibly special so thank you.
