Building a Brand from the Inside Out Studio 20
Mugur Frunzetti is a Romanian businessman who has built arguably one of the most recognizable brands in the live cam industry. When he founded the award-winning Studio 20 almost 5 years ago, Mugur Frunzetti was already a successful but humble entrepreneur who had worn many hats in his business endeavors.
Frunzetti had a vision not just to create a successful business, but to create a brand that is highly trusted and recognized throughout the industry. So he did just that when he opened his first Studio20 location: a small 10-room studio in Gara de Nord, Bucharest, Romania.
How did Mugur Frunzetti and his team at Studio 20 go from a small 10-room cam studio in Gara de Nord, Bucharest, to being one of the live cam industry’s most influential, trusted, and recognizable brands in the live cam industry with 12 franchises around the world?
By building a brand. One of the first things Mugur did was to put together a solid and motivated team of Provisionals that would become instrumental in bringing his vision to reality. First, let’s ask what is branding. Branding is quite simply establishing a public and professional identity. It’s kind of like baking a cake, you need all the ingredients.
That means to meet the goals you need to (A) have to believe in not only your product or service that you are offering but the team you are a part of. (B) Remember that you are part of a team no matter what your position is in the company. This is something we here at Explicit have known for a while. The Visuals:
The look and feel of a product or service speak volumes to your audience and the business community If you are not familiar with Studio 20, On the company’s website, you will notice the company logo/trademark. It’s in the company’s traditional colors of white with a bright red black trim and the words (We succeed together). To some people, the tagline (we succeed together)
may just sound like another corporate cliché but it’s not! “We succeed together” is a way of thinking and conducting business for the team at Studio 20. Picking your company’s name, logo, colors, and tagline is all very important to your brand and image so think it through. I suggest following Studio 20’s path: keep your overall design simple and clean so it can easily be incorporated into all of your media and into outside sources as well. Making the right choices can make all the difference.
All of Studio 20 franchises use the same template of a super modern European penthouse with a lot of class. Using the company’s signature colors; with beautiful poems and positive messages written in black along the white walls. Everything is connected from the look and feel of the Studio 20 physical location to its website and even the attitude of the staff and models.
Studio 20 has a very strong social media presence on Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook. As we all know, social media is very important for any company today. Social media is not rocket science but there is a right way to use it, this is something we here at Explicit have learned the hard way. Trust
Trust from your staff, audience, models, and the professional community
I have spoken to many of the staff at Studio 20 and have developed a good working relationship with them. What I found is a highly professional team with a positive and friendly attitude. My first experience with Studio 20 was a tour of the Los Angeles location. When I met Nicole, the Studio 20 Los Angeles manager.
You can tell when speaking to Nicole that she believes in the Studio 20 brand. We here at CamLife have been working closely with Studio 20s PR Manager, Andra Chirnogeanu, for some time now and I can honestly tell you working with Andra is one the most pleasant business experience I have ever had.
PR is a very important part of branding. Andra is one of the hardest-working people I know. She has helped us line up interviews with their models. She also puts together all of the press releases for the company, in addition to managing her team on all other tasks. Andra Chirnogeanu was recently recognized for her hard work by taking home an AW Award for Best Company Representative. We use Rising Star PR.
Establish yourself as an expert.
How you may ask? First by having yourself featured in industry publications and websites. Thanks to Andra Chirnogeanu you can hardly read anything live cam-related today without seeing Studio 20’s name. Publications and sites are all dying for content and want to work with them.
Set yourself apart by Sponsoring an industry event or expo.
You don’t have to break the bank, you can do a contest and of course, there is good old-fashioned networking. Studio 20 has not only built a brand but they have built relationships with such companies as Live Jasmin, Flirt4free, Streammate, Aw Summit, and Ynot.
The greatest part of the Studio 20s Brand is the caring attitude and professional training Studio 20 offers an extremely pleasant workplace, with a very nice team that truly cares about the webcam models that work there. The activity complies with all current legislation, and all models have a 100% legal labor contract.
Not only do they hire webcam models, but offer a relaxing workplace and they will help you with anything you need, from specialized training to clothes and makeup, and technical support in order for you to perform better and be a top earner. At Studio 20, the program is flexible and their webcam models can choose on a weekly basis, the hours they want to work.
This is very beneficial for students, but also for those who have already graduated from college and want to become a top webcam model. The #girlsfromstudio20 all love the company so much that most of them think of Studio 20 as a second family. That is how you build a truly successful brand from the inside out.
