Cam Community leader Spotlight Jay Kopita
Company YNOT
In this edition of Cam Life Magazine, we have chosen to Spotlight Ynots Jay Kopita as our Cam Community leader
Jay was born in Flint, Michigan. Before joining the adult industry Jay Kopita was an aspiring actor throughout much of the 90s appearing in such shows as The Pretender (1996), Friday Night Lights (2006) and Melrose Place (1992). After graduating from the University of Minnesota with a B.A. in Theatre and Speech communications, Jay moved to LA, waited tables, went on auditions, and occasionally booked gigs in commercials, TV shows, indie films, and theatre. Not making a living at it, Jay gave up the dream and for a couple of years and started working for a Hollywood Public Relations firm and then he took those skills that he had acquired (writing, story pitching, and event production mainly) to the adult industry. At the time of hiring, he was working for Sextracker and YNOT. Jay has been with Ynot ever since.
Jay and his partner at YNOTwere among the first to realize the impact that the live cam industry would have. Jay and the team at the YNOT have become some of the live cam industries biggest supporters. Andra Chirnogeanu of studio 20 calls Jay one of her favorite human beings.
Little Red Bunny had this to say about co-hosting the Ynot awards with Jay ( Jay and I are very similar on many things which makes us get along well since the first time we met. He is very organized and likes things done his way and has a lot of experience too, which makes it quite easy to go on with. It’s always easier with a clear direction than without. While being a perfectionist like me, he likes to do everything without complications and simplicity while having a laid-back attitude. He approaches everything with fun and he has a great sense of humor, which I relate to quite well, so it was fun and natural to follow his direction while he was totally open-minded to my input, ideas, and creativity for both the video we did together and hosting that night. I would do it again anytime! }
I have met Jay at the Phoenix forum in AZ in March of 2017 and I can tell you that Jay is a hard-working supportive member of the Cam community. He has been very supportive of myself and my team hears at Cam life offer many times to help us grow in any way he can. Technically our two companies would be competitors but Jay and his partner believe as I do that we as a community are much better off by having an attitude of cooperation instead of competition. It is Jay’s solid work ethic, positive attitude that makes him stand out as our Cam Community leader here at Cam Life Magazine.
