Interview with Rising Star Showcase Aurora Sky

First off before we start Aurora Sky I would like to thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to sit down with us here at Cam Life Magazine to answer some questions for our readers. Thanks for taking the time to interview me! – Aurora Sky I love sharing my story with others

Bender – What made you decide to become a live Cam model? – Aurora Sky  I decided to become a cam model after spending many years following these unique creative fascinating women grow and change through their careers. I started watching them around 2014, and I found them to be empowering, intelligent, and frankly, the exact opposite of the stigma surrounding them. I recently ended a 6-year long relationship to which I left my home in America to live in Canada.I’m starting over again in a different country far away from home and I’m so grateful to have this platform where I can express myself and be the empowered, intelligent, creative, sexy woman I always knew I was. 

Bender – How long have you been performing as a webcam model? – Aurora Sky I’ve been performing as a webcam model for only about 2 months! It’s been such a great experience so far!I’ve met so many loyal regulars already and I love when people in my room become friends with each other. Not to mention the plethora of other amazing women I’ve met out there on social media.

Bender – What made you choose Myfreecams to broadcast on? Aurora Sky – I chose Myfreecams to broadcast on because I was always a fan of the platform, the girls and how they conducted themselves, and most importantly the chatters. I found Myfreecams to be the most friendly, fun community, and welcoming community. I can honestly say I have never felt better about myself in my life!

Bender – How did you come up with your stage name?  Aurora Sky – My stage name is comprised of fond memories I have of camping in remote Northwest Ontario.I’ll never forget leaving my tent at night while camping on a remote island in the middle of a lake and looking to my right to see the Milky Way, then panning to my left to see hues of green and purple dance across the sky. Such natural beauty in a vast landscape, so far out where nobody can reach you, Just made me feel so small and yet so welcomed as a part of this earth. I chose YourAuroraSky because I want to make you feel the way I did those nights.

Bender – How did your family and friends feel about your decision to become a live Cam model?  Aurora Sky – My family and friends have been very supportive thus far, pushing me harder, and to keep doing it, even when I want to give up. They see how happy it has made me so far and the potential I have, and that if I stick with it, It will pay off even greater.

Most people close to me, the ones that matter, they know.I’m kind of a private person and although I feel there should be absolutely no stigma around this industry, I have nothing to hide, I just prefer not everyone on the block know what I do because I’m the type of neighbor who will live somewhere 8 years and not says one word to the person that lives next door, haha.

Bender – Do you have anyone special in your life? Aurora Sky – Do I have anyone special in my life? Yes, The amazing friends I have up here in Canada who have supported me through this terrifying and empowering journey of unlocking my true potential.

Bender – Now Aurora you have an amazing body how do you stay in shape? Aurora Sky – I stay in shape because I live a pretty active lifestyle and work out occasionally. Aside from camming and adult work I run a business on the side which requires me to do a lot of physical activity on my feet and heavy lifting. In short, Cardio, ha-ha

Bender – So, I was looking at your Twitter page and you have a unique fashion sense. Can you tell us a little bit about this? Aurora Sky – My fashion sense is derived from my childhood, the 90’s, and new fashion. You will either catch me dolled-up in a strappy lingerie set, in a pair of leggings or ripped jeans, with some geeky T-Shirt underneath. I’ve always dyed my hair interesting colors, although blue has stuck with me lately. Tattoos, don’t get me started on tattoos and piercings, more, always more. All I have to say is good things: crushed velvet and chokers came back in style or I’d be screwed.

Bender – You are also an artist can you tell us about your work?  Aurora Sky – I like to sketch and paint, on my body or on canvas, I find it to be the most relaxing and stressful activity you can do at the same time. I play trumpet, I’ve just gotten back into it after 15 years, Louis Armstrong was always a huge inspiration to me as I love Jazz and Blues.

I love to write to express myself, either that be in paragraph form when I’m just sharing my thoughts or in poetry. I secretly keep a note document on my phone with random poems I’ve written or thoughts I’ve had.I’m an amazing cook, in the future, I will be hopefully using camming as an avenue to pay for my culinary school to get my Red Seal as a chef. Once I get a place of my own, I’m going to be doing a lot of cooking shows on cam in the future. I get joy out of teaching people how to cook. I would love to one day own a food truck, I love seeing how my food brings others joy.

Bender -What inspires you? Aurora Sky – There is a lot that inspires me. Strong women, good friends, good hearts, kind acts, but let’s stick with current inspirations… Music: Nina Simone, D Rangers, Louis Armstrong. They’ve helped lift me up in the toughest of times and made me happy, peppy, and sexy while putting on my makeup before shooting content or going online.

Books: “The Sun and Her Flowers” by Rupi Kaur and “a beautiful composition of broken” by r.h. sin. In recent months I’ve found both of these books to be empowering to women, they’ve uplifted my spirit and made me feel stronger.

Bender – What is a typical day on cam like for you? Aurora Sky – A typical day on cam for me would be waking up, having my espresso, vitamins, and breakfast before going on social media to market myself. I might post some pictures, post stories to various social media outlets, and pose teasers or nudes to my private snapshot. Then there’s the shower, taking really good care of your face and body, then applying makeup and making sure your hair looks good. You typically have to spend a couple hours each day (on or off cam) promoting yourself on social media and saying when you’ll be on cam. Then I’ll go on cam, my regulars usually pop in right away. I like to plan some sort of game or activity while on cam. I’ve painted, I’ve read poetry, I’ve played video games, I’ve played connect 4 and Jenga, I have a chance draw and other ways to win prizes. There is a lot of work put into creating an incentive for tippers so your whole room can have fun! Typically, I’m on cam from 2-4 hours and even longer if we’re having extra fun.

Bender – What is a typical day for you like when you are not on cam? Aurora Sky – A typical day off cam consists of me waking up early, the same routine but faster, espresso, vitamins, breakfast, shower, then still going onto social media for about an hour to market myself. I may do my makeup before working my other job and plan an outfit for sexy photos or a video shoot later in the day. Typically, I just go to work, I work on average 6-10 hours in a day depending on how my scheduling for my other business is, then I come home, and either shower and get ready for another early day, or I clean up, fix my makeup and go online for a little while. Both involve another hour or so of social media and other platform marketing afterward as well.

Bender – Do you have a favorite aphrodisiac? Aurora Sky – My favorite aphrodisiac is olives. There’s nothing sexier to me than a glass of red wine with a selection of olives and other sexy goodies to eat while you’re enjoying wine.

 Bender – Do you have any guilty pleasures? Aurora Sky – My guilty pleasures include: Listening to music late at night fantasizing about men I know in my real life I’ll never have…Macaroons Wine Diablo 2 or any MMO RPG
