CamLife Magazine Interview’s  Teerpon’s Valérie Artonne”Behind     Hello Valerie, since 2017 industry partners have met you at different trade shows. You are known to always be wearing stylish and trendy outfits, but behind the fancy façade, we discovered a tough, multifaceted, and wise entrepreneur. It sounds like your imprint on the Tarpon business is way more important than people may think. CamLife Magazine values empowered women, so thank you so much for taking that time to sit down with us here to answer some questions for our readers.  Thanks, Bender, for the kind words. It is a real pleasure to be here with you, and I am eager to get feedback on info@terpon.com from your many readers, more especially from performers and studios who represent our opening B2B market. You, with your husband JC, are the two co-founders of Terpon Corp. He previously told me that you are the one who decided to start this business. Is that true, and what was the opportunity you foresaw? In fact, the initial opportunity presented to JC was to design a complex VR camera for an adult content producer. It was obviously not scalable, so not interesting for him until he brought that into our morning discussion and brainstorming routine. I am passionate about psychology, sociology, or should I say humans in general. Sexuality is, therefore, one of the subjects I care about as it is an essential part of our vital needs. I recommended that JC go deeper under the cusp, especially into the growing live cam vertical where it’s all about succeeding to create interactive relations that result in a financial transaction. Virtual Reality was obviously the next step to go beyond a simple e-frame and to offer a telepresent realistic feeling. I knew that day that we were probably touching something big and that it will only be the first step toward a global ecosystem for digital sexuality, the one that has been depicted by many science fiction authors. After JC’s market investigation over a few months, we took the decision to co-invest in Terpon. Consequently, to your question, I will prefer to say that it was a mutual decision based on pure rationales, even if, yes, I was the one to push it hard at its inception. Wow, so you also personally invested in Terpon. Can you tell us more about your background? Self-made woman, I went for a job in my youth. My dream was big but unclear… I was for sure always thinking about how to improve people’s lives with many business ideas. Finally, to satisfy my artistic soul as well as my passion for the complexity and the beauty of humankind, I went back to school in my 20s, investing in a 5-year acting curriculum. The discovery of the “Method Acting” from Stanislavski’s system was a life-revelation and put my focus on everything that seeks to encourage sincere and emotionally expressive performances. Now, I can really value how much it has been useful in my day-to-day business relations. As it was quite expensive, after 3 years I decided to challenge myself and become an exotic dancer in the most prestigious club in Montreal. Business minded, I put clear goals for each of my working days, and a clear deadline for this activity: 2years. Indeed, it went quite well and, a few years after I quit, I was capable of using my savings to significantly invest in the Terpon venture.  This side-path experience helped me to understand and respect the live cam performers who seriously plan to grow and convert their fan-base into a recurrent revenue-stream. It takes time to entertain viewers as often as possible with freshness. Virtual Reality is one of the answers available right now. 2-3 years ago, it was the time to pioneer with simply connected toys when many were thinking it would never take over on such a scale. Now, almost all the rooms are equipped, and I guarantee you that it will be the same with immersive technologies. Thanks for sharing that. Now, I understand more where you come from and why people who are approaching you love you. But Terpon has not been a long, quiet river… From my own experience as an entrepreneur every project every company has to overcome certain hurdles, I believe that this experience not only makes for a better project, but it makes you better as a person and as an entrepreneur. What are your thoughts on this? And, what hurdles have you had to overcome as an entrepreneur? I Am not an expert in R&D, but everybody knows that it always takes time and money, and when innovating whatever your ideas are, it must be continuously updated. Remember all these examples such as the first Apple Mac that took three years of development instead of the previously forecasted one year. Therefore, entrepreneurs must be agile and flexible, as well as it requires enough funding to face all the timeline extensions and the imponderable. In our case, our engineers have managed the hardware development well. The first 1,000 cameras’ components are ready for assembly. What was underestimated was the velocity of adoption from the cam sites who all were waiting to see who will be the first to go… I can tell you today, that the first one to be fully operational is XVR.CHAT and it is not a surprise to see a new site decided to go with full VR in order to have strong differentiation. We believe they will be very successful as a few hundred top performers from various leading platforms already have confirmed to us they will split their traffic with XVR as they want to offer more to their clients and attract new ones to their rooms. Hello Valerie, since 2017 industry partners have met you at different trade shows.

I can tell you today, that the first one to be fully operational is XVR.CHAT and it is not a surprise to see a new site decided to go with full VR in order to have strong differentiation. We believe they will be very successful as a few hundred top performers from various leading platforms already have confirmed to us they will split their traffic with XVR as they want to offer more to their clients and attract new ones to their rooms.

Now, several well-known platforms are trying to bridge the gap and are integrating our solution. It was the signal our financial partners were expecting, and it makes me very confident.

To your question about making us better facing difficulties, I will say that it has tested our limits and resilience. I think that it has made both of us, JC and me, humbler, and pragmatic, thanks to our team, the models and all the studios who have supported us from day one. They will recognize themselves.

Talking about the team, how would you say that working with your partner in life helped strengthen your relationship as JC told me, and how do you balance business with your personal life?

it is easy to answer how we currently balance personal and professional life. There is, in fact, no balance, no boundaries, we are literally all-in. It makes us happy as we are both hard-workers and passionate about the Terpon project. Beyond a simple investment consideration, JC and I are sharing the same vision in Terpon and that resonates so well with our values.

If you were a fly on the wall, you would rapidly understand that our debates are quite animated. We are not always agreeing on the way to conduct the business or to choose the best people. I am most probably the one who is the more vocal, LOL. At the same time, we are both very complimentary and have a lot of admiration for each other.

The key point is that we always agree at the end on one point: we really love and care very much for each other!

Also, don’t think I am not active in my duties as a wife and mother. I am also a very dedicated mum and that’s why I was more behind the front line during the first years of our adorable kid’s life. Now, watch out, it is time for me to be in the battle.

Amazing, so what’re your exact duties at Terpon?I understand that you have taken recently the position of Chief Brand Officer.

Terpon in Greek mythology was the devoted servant of Aphrodite and Dionysus. It is an inspiration for us to be sincerely dedicated to our customers’ needs and demands. To start with the live performers and studios who are now using our VR cameras and within the end of this year the general public with new elegant and exclusive connected devices we are crafting.

Also, at Terpon, we feel very responsible on a societal point of view, as we are touching an essential human need, sexuality. Therefore, we put all our future business and product developments under a highly ethical lens. That’s one of the reasons we are currently discussing partnerships with some universities on researchers about the new digital sexuality trends, their economic, psychological and sociological impact.

All of this effort requires special attention, as well as a clear statement for outsiders.

Since Terpon’s inception, I have been the one in charge of our brand positioning, it is just a way to make it official and to reinforce my role as Cerberus or guardian, if you prefer, of the company and brand values.

Obviously, you are spending a lot of effort and devotion in your developments. So, tell us, how do you think VRand Terpon’soffer will change camming?

It may surprise you a lot, but I really think that VR will not change camming, camming will change VR!Let me explain…Going VR for the camsites will not magically overnight increase their revenues, but for sure, it will continue to onboard new tech-savvy customers in the upcoming years.I am especially thinking about generation X, fully involved in the digital era, and generation Y, the Millennials, who have been raised with the internet. Almost a billion hyper connected people, who are now at or approaching their tip of consumption capabilities, and, for many who are suffering from loneliness. Some serious surveys demonstrate solo-sexuality is becoming the preferred sexual behavior for a fast-growing already two-digit percentage of this population. They are the perfect target for what I like to call the virtual love that is becoming day after day close to a reality in terms of feelings using new VRand haptic technologies.

Not being ready for this new customer and this technological revolution, in a very competitive environment, is for sure missing the train and all its future opportunities. Some top-models and best studios have clearly understood the opportunity and have bought the ticket. Being first to catch this market will give them a tremendous advantage, without spoiling their current customer base, as they will still broadcast traditional 2D streams through our cameras. Moreover, they will continue to offer more and more of what clients always want. At least they need to be given the choice!

Therefore, it will be the performers who will change the camming industry and not the technology itself. One of the reasons it was so important for us to invest so much in brand awareness over the last 2 years. Our ambassadors and the one-to-two thousand beta-testers, we are currently equipping with our 1,000 generations zero Hermes cameras, will split their traffic and will carry-along with them their fan-base to the sites that will be compatible with VR broadcasting, such as the new site XVR.CHAT, or on a platform like Skyprivate.

That said, several important sites are working on the integration, so we expect the models will keep their loyalty when it will be possible. The implementation of our technology is now quite easy, and we are not asking the camsites to pay any royalties or fees for that, nor for the camera usage, nor to the final users. Our business model is simple, we rent the camera at an affordable price to the models and to the studios directly. I can assure you that Terpon wants to serve fairly and equally all the industry. To conclude on this important question, the camming is to our point of view the key to enabling VR in most homes. To be interesting VR content must be interactive and engaging, that’s exactly why media and market survey agencies are betting on video-gaming, and why we are betting on camming. We see this market trend with a major difference: for camming is possible to have a great set up with a cardboard headset for less than $30-or better yet-a less-than-$200 standalone headsets.

We’ll see how our affiliate program works to distribute headsets. I will tell you more after a test period and we will start very soon with a few of our top ambassadors. If it delivers the promises from our first survey, it will be a significant source of additional revenues for sites and performers.

So, many things are on the burner as I understand…Now we here at Cam Life Magazine pride ourselves on being the pulse of the live webcam community so can you tell us about any other projects that you are working on?

Indeed, many things will be announced over the next months as we have first to see how much investment we will be capable of raising. Being in hardware is never as easy as being in software or services, so the working capital requirement is a lot more demanding.

For sure, I can tell you that sometime around this summer we will have both an improved version of the Hermes that we plan to rent between $30 and $40 per month, and a new concept of input device that will allow clients to enjoy even more the currently available toys on the market. For the camera, we will be able to reach the maximum resolution and quality that it can offer. It will be amazing. And for the input device, we will try to reinforce partnership with innovative manufacturers such as Kiiroo as we believe a global immersive solution will enhance the customer’s pleasure, and therefore retention and revenues that the industry will be able to generate over such complete experiences.

That’s for the company. And as the CBO, my main goal for 2019 and 2020 is to develop a community of enthusiastic users in the Adult Entertainment Industry as well as in the general public, with a special focus on all the Sexual Wellness side of our business which within 2 years will represent most ofTerpon’srevenues.

Thank you so much for taking the time out of your busy schedule to sit down with us here at Cam Life Magazine we hope to continue to work and grow your you and your team.“VR will not change camming, camming will change VR”

CamLife Starlet Showcase Heather Jammes

This Issue’s Starlet Showcase Heather Jammes is an amazing live webcam model with Studio 20 & Broadcasting on Live Jasmine. Heather Jammes 1

The girl who always has a smile on her face, Heather Jammes, seems a bit shy at first glance, but all you have to do to break the ice is say Hi. When you enter her cam room the first thing you see is a big smile, and to answer your question no, it’s not forced, she just enjoys what she does and she is always happy to chat. Being a sociable person she loves to be surrounded by people with different views and a lot of topics to debate Heather Jammes 2

The first time she tried her hand at being a cam model was a few years back and she did this from home. She says that“ the first few days were a bit strange, there were a lot of people who wanted to talk to me, and I found it overwhelming. Soon though, I found people with whom I had things in common and I started to loosen up, and be myself. It didn’t last long because even though I loved having all these people to talk to, I lacked structure and a set schedule.

”This is when she started looking for a studio, knowing that that was what she needed.” I did a bit of research on the studios in my area and there was only one that caught my eye: Studio 20. They had a really comprehensive site and after I read all the info there, I called and set up an interview. They asked me why I decided to be a model, and all I had to say was that I find it exciting to be in front of a computer and meet so many different people”.Starlet Showcase Heather Jammes

She has been working with Studio20 for almost a year and she says that “I found my place”. Her family knows about her job and she is fortunate enough to have friends that support her ”When I first started from home, it was inevitable for my mom not to find out, so I sat her down and explained what being a model is all about. It took a bit but she was able to see past the false information she had about the industry. When I told her I found a studio and I’m going for an interview she actually said that she feels is for the better because like this I would have someone to watch my back and help me.”

Now, whenever she has something to share about her day, funny moments or just to ask her to take a picture to send a member “ my mom is always there, laughing with me or asking me to raise my chin up to look pretty in a photo.”

As you might ask yourselves who Heather is outside of a cam model, she’ll tell you that” I’m just Heather. I don’t have an online persona. What you see is what you get. Because I’m a Pisces I love artistic things and all forms of expression. I love make-up and I talk about it with my members. I had one ask me to show him my make-up bag and explain what all was for. It was upper funny and entertaining. I’m a big fan of humor and I’m always up for a good laugh. I don’t believe in being sad. I love to brighten people’s days. Either by making my members feel better or by giving my girlfriends a free make-up session. I am hell on wheels with a brush and some good lipstick.”Cam Life Starlet Showcase Heather Jammes

When talking about the future, Heather says that she doesn’t really have other plans than becoming a better model and exploring all the possibilities working in a studio has to offer” I’m still a beginner model compared to all the big names involved with Studio20. But I’m always watching them and learning. I want to go to Summits and contests and I really want to win some”.

I was recently talking with my good friend Walter Van Liesdonk over at Tip-Top Studios. And Walter was stressing the importance of the morning ritual. So I asked Walter to put pen to paper so he can share his thoughts on the importance to every entrepreneur of having a morning ritual. The morning ritual….. It can be pretty stressful having your own company. Especially when you work with different partners and people like having, for example, a webcam studio to run. The moment Walter Vee wakes up till the moment he has the chance to be overwhelmed by daily work and incoming requests and all the challenges a webcam studio could give… How to start a day without drowning the first hours when you’re at work…… That is an interesting topic.  I think every entrepreneur has his own way of dealing with work and stress. Yes, those are two different things….. Work can be fun, challenging, exciting and stressful. How to keep this all in balance and make earnings while doing it is the art of a successful business. I’m not an expert but I found my way.  Before the morning ritual comes there is one important thing before. The evening I go to bed I always evaluate my day. Am I satisfied? What things were good? Could I do things differently the next time? Thinking about this closes my day peacefully and puts things in the right place. Even when I had many ‘improvement situations’ or F-UPS. It gives me a comfortable opportunity to add things to my to-do list for the next day or week. And put things in the right place in my mind. Sometimes I even fall asleep while thinking of the day… Missions successful! In the morning I always try to wake up before my alarm (my little kid called Lucy). I can only manage to wake up before I have my 8 hours of sleep, so I count the hours before I go to bed. A good sleep means good recovery and regeneration of hormones, immune system and so on.  The first hour I try not to touch my mobile, laptop or television. I want to manage my mood during the first hour of my day. Not bloggers on youtube, social media posts or any other message on my phone that could influence me. Don’t get me wrong, everyone has the best intentions I believe. But I manage my own time and my feelings at the beginning of the day. With this done properly, I can answer people, ‘like’ posts, reply to email and work more efficiently. Because if you want to be productive it works best when your body and mind is in condition to do this.  Did you know It is proven when you play video games or watch tv the hours before sleep, your subconscious is active while your prior time already told you hours ago to slowly stop with activities and get ready to bed? I can confirm cause I was a game addict and recognize sleeping problems ;). The addiction to gaming is the constant low dopamine hormone shot unnaturally. Think of small achievements in the game and/or passing to the next on Candy-Crush. Or even more interesting thing is the term ‘Facebook depression’.  Waking up with my glass of water I take my amino acids and vitamins and sit down 15 minutes before I head to the shower to get really awake. After these first 30 minutes of the day, my brain is active with idea’s and I write them down in my notebook with idea’s (yes a paper notebook 🙂 ) or I try to remember them till I start work. The first 10 minutes at work I start with coffee and make my to-do list. Most of this list is already set up during the weekly meetings and small things can be dynamically added or moved to another day.  The theory behind this is simple, when I’m happy my brain releases dopamine and when I love something serotonin. When your excited testosterone and epinephrine (adrenaline) when afraid or angry. These are just 4 of the many hormones your body has. Knowing this theory I can choose when someone, something else can control what I feel.   Making my mind at ease by rethinking the day before I go to sleep. And waking up without any external interference then the things I choose makes my morning ritual awesome to start the day.  That’s my balance I always try to go for… I wish it was always possible, but it’s very comfortable when I’m able to do it!   Written By Walter Van Liesdonk Co-founder of TipTop Studios  CamLife Magazine Get Your copy in print or on our app now! But becoming a successful cam model, and sustaining your brand, requires more than just dedication, according to Alexandra. Catjira – It will be three years this August that I’ve been a full-time cam model!   Bender – What did you do before you became one of the world’s biggest live Cam performers in the world?  Catjira – I don’t feel as though I’m one of the biggest cam performers, I still have no idea what I’m doing and learn something new each day. Prior to camming full time, I was a full-time college student, I actually graduated with my Bachelors in business while I was camming full time. I’ve also previously worked with animals my whole life, I still continue to be on the side. I’m a certified dog groomer.  Bender-How did your family and friends feel about your decision to become a live Cam model? C atjira – Well I’m not the youngest cam model in the world, and I’ve accomplished a lot in my life already. My family and friends treat every decision of mine as my own and an adult decision, they’ve been supportive of everything I do in my life. I’m fortunate for that and to have family and friends be supportive of my adult work as well. It is just another accomplishment of mine to them, like graduating and other things. I’ve built an amazing fanbase, I run my own company and I dabble in more than just webcamming such as my modeling, cosplaying, film, and costume design as well. They’re super into the cosplay part!  Bender- Is there anyone special in your life? Catjira – es! It’s her and I just met her recently… I just adopted her from animal control and she’s a beautiful pitbull named Bisquick!  Bender – Your career really took off in a fairly short time. Did you ever find yourself getting overwhelmed with requests from fan’s and from colleagues and professionals within the live webcam community?  Catjira –I disagree, my career took so much time and effort and failure before I started seeing signs of what I consider success. I spent many months without being able to make a single cent, let alone get a viewer in my chat room.I realized whatever I was doing wasn’t working and did a constant trial and error. But I’m very good and not showing my failures because I don’t consider most things a failure, it’s a learning experience for me. I like turning lemons into lemonade during rough times. I never feel overwhelmed. I’m always super excited, flattered, and shocked to have any opportunity given to me.   Bender- What would you say the biggest challenges in your career have been so far?  Catjira-I think webcamming is one of the most difficult jobs I’ve had, period. It’s not just a job and if you treat it as such you won’t do well. It needs to be your life, well at least it is for me. Revolving my world around others is easy, what isn’t easy is doing well regardless. Camming is such a popular saturated market and luck can play a huge factor. The biggest challenge for me is not taking things so personally. When you have a slow night on cam it can really bring down your self-esteem, you start to question your appearance, personality, etc. I still struggle with that.  Bender-  You have a really strong social media following and a lot of it has to do with your cosplay and your amazing personality. How important are your followers and fans to you?  Catjira-I wouldn’t be able to cosplay, make adult films, or webcam if it wasn’t for them. They are the reason I am even able to do this interview. They’re everything Bender-  How do you deal with rude friends or cyberbullies? Catjira-They’re irrelevant to me in that I don’t let it get to me. If someone is pretending to be my friend I usually catch on pretty quick. There is a lot of underlying bullying in this industry, I learned that from the start. You either are aware of or get eaten. I’m aware and I don’t let it bother me. I’ll always help people in need and do my best to give people opportunities and help when I can, regardless of their intentions I know this industry is difficult and not everyone knows how to deal with it while treating others fairly. I don’t have rude friends. My circle is small and tight and most people don’t even know who it consists of.  Bender-So can you tell us a little bit about your costumes, what’s changed, how do you put them together? Are there any lessons that you have learned?  Catjira-Costumes, and cosplay is expensive. I’m always trying to make due with what I have with everything and I’ve learned to apply this to costumes as well. You don’t always need the biggest and most expensive thing, especially if you can take the time to make it. Sometimes I buy pieces, sometimes I use what I have, and sometimes I make it!  Bender- I’m sure you get a lot of fan requests for your cosplay. How do you deal with special fan requests?  Catjira- My business doesn’t revolve around requests. I rarely do customs and my fan base is built on this. So I don’t deal with it much. On special occasions, I do when I can. But this year I have branched out into other platforms and I’m making new fans across the web who aren’t used to the way in which I do content. I get a lot of requests and suggestions on places like Instagram and Reddit and I have been doing some fan service work and extending my characters beyond what I like and doing what my fans like. Catjira-I wouldn’t be able to cosplay, make adult films, or webcam if it wasn’t for them. They are the reason I am even able to do this interview. They’re everything

You don’t always need the biggest and most expensive thing, especially if you can take the time to make it. Sometimes I buy pieces, sometimes I use what I have, and sometimes I make it!

But this year I have branched out into other platforms and I’m making new fans across the web who aren’t used to the way in which I do content. I get a lot of requests and suggestions on places like Instagram and Reddit and I have been doing some fan service work and extending my characters beyond what I like and doing what my fans like. However later this year I will be doing a character that is HUGELY requested and just so happens to be one of my favorite fictional characters ever. I am so ecstatic and flattered people even think I have the appearance to pull off this character and features just like them. I’m super excited people want to see this from me!

Bender- Do you have a most requested cosplay by your fans that you haven’t fulfilled yet?

Catjira-Yes! As mentioned above there is one that I get constantly and I will be doing it later this year. The costume is in the works right now!

Bender- What’s the longest amount of time you have spent putting together a costume?

Catjira-I’d say a few months. I am unable to sit down and dedicate a large chunk of time for days straight without doing anything else because I work on so many things so this is made across a span of time working on it a little bit each day. My Immortan Joe took a while and so did Lara Croft.

Bender-s there a method to your Madness as far as marketing your costumes and what are the different ways you use to monetize content video cam Etc to maximize your Revenue for your latest cosplay creation?

Catjira- I get this question a lot during interviews, haha. I don’t have a method. I just produce films with my cosplays usually and I am able to sell them on my cam site and adult content website. I love to edit and make trailers which I post on social media and that’s a way to market. But I also just really enjoy doing it.

Bender-You have previously Graced the cover of xbiz cam world and AVN’s Cam star magazine and now you are being featured on the cover of CamLife Magazine what is it like Grace the cover of all three major trade magazines for the live webcam community?

Catjira- I can’t believe I’ve had opportunities to do such things! It makes me feel way cooler than I actually am haha. I’m so flattered and honored anyone would want to work with me.

Bender-Of course, I’ve asked a lot about what year fans favorite cosplay costumes have been but what is your favorite?

Catjira-There’s a few for different reasons! I love my Immortan Joe because Mad Max Fury Road is one of my favorite movies! I love cosplaying Lara Croft because Tomb Raider is my favorite video game series! But I also love being Harley Quinn especially when I’m doing adult work, she gives me so much confidence!

Bender-You obviously have a great passion for cosplay and geek culture General so what is your favorite comic book title?

Catjira-  man most people don’t know this but I’m a HUGE Sheena Queen of the Jungle fan! I grew up around comics because my grandpa would make giant art pieces for comic conventions and I’d help him paint them. They were life-size wood cutouts from all different kinds of comic characters. But my favorite was always Sheena.

Bender- What game titles are you currently playing? Catjira, Right now I am not playing anything! I am currently waiting on Shadow of Tomb Raider to drop as well as the Last of Us Part II!

Bender-What is a typical day like for you when you are cam?

Catjira-I cam almost daily and do so at night, so my day time consists of a lot of adulting as well as incorporating my offline work. Usually when I cam I am not filming or making content so I will be planning out that content, putting packages together for my fans and viewers or making something for a content project, usually cosplay related

Bender- What is a typical day like for you when you’re not on cam?

Catjira – When I’m not camming and it’s not a day off it will be a filming day or content producing day. This usually starts super early in the morning between 5 am and 6 am if I’m location shooting sometimes earlier. Makeup takes me a while when I’m cosplaying sometimes 2-3 hours. I always have things set up the evening before because building sets can be a lot of work and I don’t want to sweat or get exhausted prior to shooting content and doing my makeup. After my makeup and wardrobe is completed I get to filming sometimes though filming can take a few days but afterward it’s typically the end of the day and I get to relax as a reward for myself. Regardless of what I’m doing I always try to remain contactable and interactive with my fans and friends on social media.

Bender- What do you like most about the live webcam community

Catjira-I love how the community allows you to connect with so many different people, opinions, beliefs, cultures, and ideas across the world. It’s one of my favorite things about the internet in general, but the webcam community allows a common interest.

Bender– What do you like least about being on cam?

Catjira- Not being able to eat, haha. I mean, you can eat but usually, viewer counts can go down and so does interaction because you’re more focused on your delicious meal than the people in your chatroom so I try to avoid it sometimes haha. But because I’m vegan I eat about 5 meals a day so it’s hard being in one place for so long and getting hungry sometimes.

Bender- Now, of course, you’ve attended some conventions and trade shows, you even won both an xbiz and AVN Awards. What was it like to be recognized for all the hard work you have put in?

Catjira- it’s kind of terrifying to go up on stage in front of hundreds of industry people. It would be one thing to do it in front of a lot of cam models you know and interact with but being on webcam I only interact with so many mainstream performers however I’m a huge porn fan so it’s kind of scary to be in front of all of them while accepting such an honor. It really is an honor though and I still can’t believe I won an AVN and Xbiz award, as well as an Xbiz CamAward it’s just so surreal and feels pretty good to be industry recognized for what I do.

Bender- We here at Cam Life Magazine believe her at Cam Life Magazine that the live webcam industry is more than just a business, it is a community. What are your thoughts on this?

Catjira- I think every interest and ideas have their own communities, just as gaming and cosplay do. So I’d have to agree! Adult streaming has its own community but it’s also-ran by multiple businesses.

Bender- What is the kinkiest request you’ve ever gotten from a fan?

Catjira-I’m super kinky myself compared to most normal people so most things others would consider kinky it just normal to me, so I really don’t know. I love pet play and bondage and all sorts of things. It’s just sexuality and expression of experience to me.

Bender- Do you have a favorite aphrodisiac?

Catjira – Not really because I’m vegan I have a lot of diet restrictions and most of which don’t arouse me when I eat or drink. Though I am a pretty big wino, something about having a glass full of wine and wearing lingerie makes me feel sexy

Bender – Do you have any guilty pleasures?

Catjira – I don’t feel guilty or embarrassed by my pleasures at all. Except for when I listen to Nickelback, haha.

Bender- What was your first day on cam like? Catjira- terrifying, confusing and fun! I was on myfreecams and there’s so much you need to know prior to streaming that I didn’t know. Such as a topic, and countdown, and shows, and generally how everything worked despite being a member prior to camming and watching other models for quite some time. Still, it was super exciting and I loved how I could chat with people from all over the world and be my sexual self.

Bender- What Advice would you give to someone just starting out on cam?

Catjira- Do your own research, which is what you’ll hear from most models. You won’t learn much from others but more so from your own trial and errors, failures and successes. Be yourself, it’s so much easier and better to build your fan base rather than trying to be someone else.

Bender- How can your fans keep up with you and your career and what social media do you use?

Catjira- All kinds! I use twitter first and foremost, for adult content and interaction you can follow me at twitter.Com/CatjiraTV. I post images on Instagram (instagram.com/OfficialCatjira) and Reddit (reddit.com/user/Catjira). I use snapchat for chatting and vlogging, I have a youtube channel but haven’t posted anything on it yet because I’m nervous.

Bender –Once again thank you so much for taking the time out of your very busy schedule to answer some questions for our readers. Catjira – Thank you for the opportunity! Cheers!
