Male Webcam Model Spotlight –Wes Myers

 By his estimation, Wes Myers, he began performing on cam about four years ago. The popular male cam model admits at first it was just for attention. He’d sign on whenever he felt like jacking off but didn’t take it all that seriously. Wes thought, why not get paid for something he planned on doing on a regular basis for free?

CAM4 was the first cam site he came across in his online research. Wes signed up and learned the platform, building a name for himself under a different moniker as he grew. He especially liked that he could use it on his phone, which meant sneaking public shows without needing cumbersome video equipment that would give his naughty intentions away.

Then, two years ago, he began connecting with the wider cam community, enjoying their support and acceptance. That changed how he saw what he was doing, how he interacted with fans. Wes Myers was officially born then, as he settled into his own skin.  At some point in our lives, we are lucky to meet a woman like this. Her look is deep, kind and her eyes have their own vocabulary and I can say that is a very nice language to learn. She is beautiful inside and outside and she is not afraid to show her true self. She is a beautiful package and a killing combination between the brain and looks. She can always be a lingerie model but also an amazing businesswoman. She is a cam model and she loves her job. 

She was very excited about the news of being showcased in CamLifeMagazine and she was more than happy to share some things about her.

AlmaGrace-First I want to thank Models4models and CamLifeMagazine for this opportunity. Becoming a camgirl was not a decision to make lightly, so I did a small research on the market first and when I saw that the pros outweigh the cons I contacted the studio that I collab with –Models4models, and was the best decision I ever made!)

I have the chance to work with a beautiful and hardworking team that introduced me to this amazing industry from the day I started. Being so close to me and keeping me motivated to aim for the best to grow and get better.

I love beeing online, mostly because who I am as a camgirl is very much who I am in my regular life, but a more teasing, more dominant and a more seductive version of myself. I give myself 100% in what I do and most important I have fun.

I love spending my offline time surrounded by friends and family. But I also enjoy being home alone listening to good music, drinking a glass of wine and cooking. I am quite an old school, I love quality old music, that’s why one of my crazy purchase was a vintage gramophone and a big collection of vinyl records that I am proud of. Besides The Beatles, Dire Straits and The Doors I also love Italian old music and movies. La Vita e Bella it is my all-time favorite movie.

Make everyday count for you. There will always be good days and bad days on cam. It depends on you not to have an emotional reaction to everything bad that it’s coming your way. I start each day being grateful for what I have, I set some goals that will keep me motivated, I try as much as possible to be spiritually secure and financially stable.

Before we start I want to thank you both for taking the time out of your busy schedules to sit down with us here at Cam Life Magazine to answer some questions for our readers.

So let’s start at the beginning how did you two meet? 

We both met in the apartment complex we used to live at. I had to ask Jack if he wanted to get to know each other because he didn’t have the balls to ask me out.

What made you two decide to enter the live webcam industry?

Pretty simple, like most people –it was money. I had just finished my Master’s degree. I was at a point in my life where I had fully realized how long it would take me to pay off my student loans. Jack wasjust willing to go along for the ride.

How did your family and friends feel about your decision to enter the live webcam industry?

We’re safe and responsible, so we really don’t feel like what we do is a really big deal. We also understand some people may not agree with the lifestyle we have chosen. For that reason, most of the people in our life are on a need-to-know basis. We tend to avoid oversharing and if we do share what we do, which we frequentlydo, we describe it in general terms.

So, it means you have a double life, you are both successful in your day job and in your camming business. 

Yeah, I guess you could say we have a double life. Our day jobs represent a much larger portion of our personal identities and they are very distinct from our camming lifestyle.

As a couple you have become two of the most successful performers in the live webcam community. What would you say the key to your success as performers has been?

  Being consistent, answering every e-mail, being friendly to everyone, and minding our own business. A lot of people have a tendency to get wrapped up in the social order of the camming community, farming followers, use it as a platform to judge others, and overshare their opinions. We just like to mind our own business and put our energy into putting on good concise shows. We understand a lot of people have limited time in their schedule and want to have some genuine social interactions combined with sex. We try to deliver that in a three hour window.

In your opinion, what is the main difference between performing couple-shows and solo-shows? Did you try both? 

Being a solo cam model is more competitive. When you’re a solo performer the burden of running the technical aspects of your show along with social engagement all fall to oneperson. When you’re a couple, you can split these responsibilities up. Depending on the type of person you are, this can make things more or less difficult. Some people don’t like to relinquishcontrol to their partners or don’t agree with their creative direction. This tricky dynamic is what makes a long-term couples more rare than successful solo models. Both of us do solo shows, but Jack does far fewer.

The couples section is getting more and more popular over platforms that offer it. How do explain that? What’s the difference between the 3 types we have identified: like you couples that are talkative and very interactive with their audience, couples-groups who are just performing sexual performances
according to the tip menu, and couples-group who pretend to be acting like being spied with neighbors, cousins, the plumber, etc.?

I think live camming is just getting more popular in general. I think some people just genuinely crave social interactions, so they run their shows in a way to get it. For us, this is all about seducing your viewers socially, intellectually, and of course –sexually into joining your show. People who purely perform on a tip menu generally have a hard time communicating with the primary English-speaking demographic, they are attractive and lazy, don’t feel like talking, or just don’t knowany better. Some performers fetishize real-life scenarios with service workers, friends, or even “family members”. Some viewers have such a strong desire to live out these fantasies that they are able to convince themselves they are real.

How many viewers usually connect to the free part of your shows, and how many buy tickets in a single session?  It varies wildly depending on the weather, time, if there are big sporting events on, and the time of year

How do you explain your recurrent success? Is it because of your social media activities, your personal sitehttp://camming.co/, the impressive 300,000+ fans on Chaturbate, or your organization and precise schedule, or simply a combination of everything?  

Well it’s definitelynot because of our social media presence. We’re not shy about admitting that we’re no good at social media engagement, but that’s really a product of our desire not to overshare certain aspects of our life. Our personal site has helped us retain our die-hard fans by offeringthem glimpses of things we have done in the past. We’re actually in the middle of rebuildingour site right now (something we’re super excited about). Registered followers help, but are largely a product of time spent live-streaming. We’ve seen people with hundreds of thousands of social media followers and website followers with very few viewers consistently. If your room is boring, people won’t choose to spend their time there –pretty simple. Our schedule is what it is because we don’t have any other times in our life that we can dedicate to live streaming. We both work and cam.

We also saw that you are giving a lot of advice to your viewers… Does one of you have a background in sexology?

Jill is a type of therapistand is very skilled at listening and interpreting people’s body language and feelings. Jack is obsessed with data and loves trying out things that he thinks will help seduce others or heighten their experiences. We like to think these personality characteristics combined with our robust experiencegives us unique insight into people’s sexuality. We don’t just talk about it, we read about it and have an entire reading list! We have researchedwhat scents, textures, foods, sensations, and experiencescontribute to arousal. Finally, we try them out on our willing participants. We make note of what works for different types of people. Sexology is exciting because we feel like it is both an art and a scienceand since everyone is different, it means you can never truly “know it all”. That makes the field very exciting to work in.

Amazing! And about you Jack, it sounds you’re the techy-guy in the couple. We see the green screen and many over things that you like to test as for example you have talked a few times about VR? Are you an engineer?

I’m a scientist. While my field didn’t prepare me for the technical aspects of live streaming that say being an electrical engineer or software engineer would have, I have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and dabble in all sorts of fields. In the last year I’ve become fascinated with virtual reality and augmented reality, and the immersive experiencesit provides people. I built a high-end computer capable of renderingVR and for a few months, I just played some games and really understood how users interact with the interface and other people in VR. I have begun working with Terpon (https://terpon.com/) to expand the immersive experiencesVR can provide into the realm of live streaming, sexuality, and even haptics. I’m particularly excited about this because I think it’s an opportunity for us to combine several disciplines into a new type of experience. We’ve begun a series of “beta streams” onwww.xvr.chatusing our Hermes camera provided by Terpon. We call them beta streams because the technology and delivery methods are still in flux as technology improves and we learnto deliver the best experiencepossible

We see that many promising performers or some well-known ones are doing group shows with you. We even learn you go through very serious interviews…

We have collaborated with several other well-kno

wn performers, people just starting out, and people who have never done any live-camming before in their life. Variety is the spice of life! We love breaking down walls, asking people about their experiences, and how they got to where they are now. When you watch traditional porn, you never get to understand how the performers really feel. That’s what we want to give our viewers.

Now I understand that you are both also being featured in xbiz magazine as well? 

We think so! Pornhub.com contacted us about featuringour profilehttps://www.pornhub.com/model/jackplusjillas one of the “fastest growing profiles year over year in terms of video sales” on the site. This is probably because we joined pornhub really late and when we finally did, we had a video featured and experinced a lot of video sales. The total number of subscribers we have is still rather low compared to well-known people in the community, but that’s probably because we don’t like posting full-feature videos for free. We’re not that “out” and don’t want millions of people seeing our faces. We’re content with our double life and selling videos.

Will, you a day become gurus, or will you start an academy like several models are doing now? How do you see your future?

I think true gurus don’t need to label themselves as one. True knowledge comes with research and life experience and we have really put in our work in those two areas. People already watch our shows and emulate what we do. When we werestarting out and finding our way, we watched others and emulated the aspects of their shows we enjoyed most. Its all circular and nobody is really re-inventing the wheel here; it’s largely a process of self exploration through others. We’ll go where our viewers take us because at the end of the day –we’re here to please them.

What do you see as the next steps for the industry in general? 

I think we’re going to see an explosion in the number of people that are pursuing live-camming. I think it’s going to reach over-saturationin the next global recession. I think technology is going to play an increasing role in our sexual experiencesthat may even transcend arousal from other humans into the realm of computer-generated imagery. This is already happening, but as animations become more and more life-like, soon it’ll be hard to discern between an AI controlled rendering of what you define as ideal beauty and the real thing.

We here at Cam Life Magazine fell that the live webcam industry is more than just a multi-billion dollar industry its a community of performers and entrepreneurs that truly want each other to do well in this business what are your thoughts on this?

It’s hard not to agree with that. Live streaming is a platform to advertise just about anything you want about yourself. I think everyone is just trying to make it in the world and find their Ikigai. I found mine when I was working on my aquaponics projects on cam and people were encouraging me to pursue my dreams. One day I’ll have my aquaponicsfacility and live stream from there. Live streaming becomes a part of you. If you turn your back on it, it’s like giving up an opportunity and something you’ve worked so hard to develop.
How has performing as a couple helped strengthen your relationship?

While there have been some ups and downs as a result of camming, especially when you add in other people, It has definitelystrengthened our relationshipin the long run. I think we’ve really learned a lot about each other in the processand we’re extremely happy with where our relationship is today.

How do you deal with cyberbullies?

By ignoring them. Cyberbullies get off to your response and they want to see you squirm. If you ignore them, eventually they’ll get bored with you. Cyberbullies used to get to us –but at this point in our career, I don’tthink there is much you could say to us that would make us upset. We think the negativityother exude is just a reflection of their true character, so when they run their mouth –they’re just exposing themselves as the nasty people they are.

Last word: any advice for performers who will try to perform as couples or newcomers? Jill? Jack?

Success does not happen overnight. Don’t become complacent and if you think you’re the best –you’re not. Stay humble, know who pays your bills and makes your lifestyle possible; go out of your way to please those people. Build a support system, sometimes you have to get rid of the wrong friends to find the right ones. Stop overthinking and doubting yourself. Work hard and allow yourself to celebrate small victories. Set realistic goals and treat yourfailures as learning opportunities. Talk to people -don’t talk about money.

 ManyVidsco-founder and CEO, Bella French recently returned to her cam girl roots by performing live on a few occasions on MV Live, the camming platform on many vids.CamLifesat down with Bella to discussMV Live to find out what a day in the life for the CEO of one of the fastest growing adult communities is like. 

 CL: Manyvids is known as the #1 clip site in the world. Becoming the leader of one of the fastest gowning verticals in adult entertainment must take a lot of your focus. Why venture out into the live camming world at this juncture, how did that idea come about? 

Bella: It’s always been our mission to support the MV Stars in becoming as successful as possible and the MV Team is constantly coming up with innovate ways for them to connect and engage with their fans. About a year ago, we introduced a feature called MV Takeover, where one MV Star at a time had a3-hour window to perform love show. The response was so incredible that we quickly realized we needed to provide multiple MV Stars the opportunity to stream live at the same time, and so MV Live was born. We launched the beta back a few months ago and it’s been loved by both the MV stars and their fans alike. 

CL: You recently took the plunge yourself and camed on MV Live. What was that experience like?

First off before we start Aurora Sky I would like to thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to sit down with us here at Cam Life Magazine to answer some questions for our readers. Thanks for taking the time to interview me! – Aurora Sky I love sharing my story with others

 

Bender – What made you decide to become a live Cam model? – Aurora Sky  I decided to become a cam model after spending many years following these unique creative fascinating women grow and change through their careers. I started watching them around 2014, and I found them to be empowering, intelligent, and frankly, the exact opposite of the stigma surrounding them. I recently ended a 6-year long relationship to which I left my home in America to live in Canada.I’m starting over again in a different country far away from home and I’m so grateful to have this platform where I can express myself and be the empowered, intelligent, creative, sexy woman I always knew I was. 

 

Bender – How long have you been performing as a webcam model? – Aurora Sky I’ve been performing as a webcam model for only about 2 months! It’s been such a great experience so far!I’ve met so many loyal regulars already and I love when people in my room become friends with each other. Not to mention the plethora of other amazing women I’ve met out there on social media.

Bender – What made you choose Myfreecams to broadcast on? Aurora Sky – I chose Myfreecams to broadcast on because I was always a fan of the platform, the girls and how they conducted themselves, and most importantly the chatters. I found Myfreecams to be the most friendly, fun community, and welcoming community. I can honestly say I have never felt better about myself in my life!

Bender – How did you come up with your stage name?  Aurora Sky – My stage name is comprised of fond memories I have of camping in remote Northwest Ontario.I’ll never forget leaving my tent at night while camping on a remote island in the middle of a lake and looking to my right to see the Milky Way, then panning to my left to see hues of green and purple dance across the sky. Such natural beauty in a vast landscape, so far out where nobody can reach you, Just made me feel so small and yet so welcomed as a part of this earth. I chose YourAuroraSky because I want to make you feel the way I did those nights.

Bender – How did your family and friends feel about your decision to become a live Cam model?  Aurora Sky – My family and friends have been very supportive thus far, pushing me harder, and to keep doing it, even when I want to give up. They see how happy it has made me so far and the potential I have, and that if I stick with it, It will pay off even greater.

Most people close to me, the ones that matter, they know.I’m kind of a private person and although I feel there should be absolutely no stigma around this industry, I have nothing to hide, I just prefer not everyone on the block know what I do because I’m the type of neighbor who will live somewhere 8 years and not says one word to the person that lives next door, haha.

Bender – Do you have anyone special in your life? Aurora Sky – Do I have anyone special in my life? Yes, The amazing friends I have up here in Canada who have supported me through this terrifying and empowering journey of unlocking my true potential.

Bender – Now Aurora you have an amazing body how do you stay in shape? Aurora Sky – I stay in shape because I live a pretty active lifestyle and work out occasionally. Aside from camming and adult work I run a business on the side which requires me to do a lot of physical activity on my feet and heavy lifting. In short, Cardio, ha-ha

Bender – So, I was looking at your Twitter page and you have a unique fashion sense. Can you tell us a little bit about this? Aurora Sky – My fashion sense is derived from my childhood, the 90’s, and new fashion. You will either catch me dolled-up in a strappy lingerie set, in a pair of leggings or ripped jeans, with some geeky T-Shirt underneath. I’ve always dyed my hair interesting colors, although blue has stuck with me lately. Tattoos, don’t get me started on tattoos and piercings, more, always more. All I have to say is good things: crushed velvet and chokers came back in style or I’d be screwed.

Bender – You are also an artist can you tell us about your work?  Aurora Sky – I like to sketch and paint, on my body or on canvas, I find it to be the most relaxing and stressful activity you can do at the same time. I play trumpet, I’ve just gotten back into it after 15 years, Louis Armstrong was always a huge inspiration to me as I love Jazz and Blues.

I love to write to express myself, either that be in paragraph form when I’m just sharing my thoughts or in poetry. I secretly keep a note document on my phone with random poems I’ve written or thoughts I’ve had.I’m an amazing cook, in the future, I will be hopefully using camming as an avenue to pay for my culinary school to get my Red Seal as a chef. Once I get a place of my own, I’m going to be doing a lot of cooking shows on cam in the future. I get joy out of teaching people how to cook. I would love to one day own a food truck, I love seeing how my food brings others joy.

Bender -What inspires you? Aurora Sky – There is a lot that inspires me. Strong women, good friends, good hearts, kind acts, but let’s stick with current inspirations… Music: Nina Simone, D Rangers, Louis Armstrong. They’ve helped lift me up in the toughest of times and made me happy, peppy, and sexy while putting on my makeup before shooting content or going online.

Books: “The Sun and Her Flowers” by Rupi Kaur and “a beautiful composition of broken” by r.h. sin. In recent months I’ve found both of these books to be empowering to women, they’ve uplifted my spirit and made me feel stronger.

Bender – What is a typical day on cam like for you? Aurora Sky – A typical day on cam for me would be waking up, having my espresso, vitamins, and breakfast before going on social media to market myself. I might post some pictures, post stories to various social media outlets, and pose teasers or nudes to my private snapshot. Then there’s the shower, taking really good care of your face and body, then applying makeup and making sure your hair looks good. You typically have to spend a couple hours each day (on or off cam) promoting yourself on social media and saying when you’ll be on cam. Then I’ll go on cam, my regulars usually pop in right away. I like to plan some sort of game or activity while on cam. I’ve painted, I’ve read poetry, I’ve played video games, I’ve played connect 4 and Jenga, I have a chance draw and other ways to win prizes. There is a lot of work put into creating an incentive for tippers so your whole room can have fun! Typically, I’m on cam from 2-4 hours and even longer if we’re having extra fun.

Bender – What is a typical day for you like when you are not on cam? Aurora Sky – A typical day off cam consists of me waking up early, the same routine but faster, espresso, vitamins, breakfast, shower, then still going onto social media for about an hour to market myself. I may do my makeup before working my other job and plan an outfit for sexy photos or a video shoot later in the day. Typically, I just go to work, I work on average 6-10 hours in a day depending on how my scheduling for my other business is, then I come home, and either shower and get ready for another early day, or I clean up, fix my makeup and go online for a little while. Both involve another hour or so of social media and other platform marketing afterward as well.

Bender – Do you have a favorite aphrodisiac? Aurora Sky – My favorite aphrodisiac is olives. There’s nothing sexier to me than a glass of red wine with a selection of olives and other sexy goodies to eat while you’re enjoying wine.

 

 Bender – Do you have any guilty pleasures? Aurora Sky – My guilty pleasures include: Listening to music late at night fantasizing about men I know in my real life I’ll never have…Macaroons Wine Diablo 2 or any MMO RPG
