We celebrate Women's Day
We celebrate Women’s Day
Being a woman is hard. I am starting with this phrase to emphasize that women throughout history fought to have a decent place in society. I believe we won our equality in rights by standing tall, firm, and fierce. Today we pride ourselves that having a job as a sex worker is no longer a shame, as it used to be, but a job as all the others. We still have places around the world where people might think differently, but the idea is that we have succeeded in winning a small victory, even if not everywhere just yet.
We are all women, and some are even mothers. Women explore their feelings differently than how men do. They are more attuned to their inner senses and emotions; they spread love and calmness. Women are not warriors but protectors.
We celebrate Women’s Day to celebrate the feelings of peace and love a mother can bring to their children; a woman can bring to their loved ones. It is a celebration and occasion for promoting women’s issues and rights, especially in developing countries.
Women’s Day gets to praise women for how wonderful they are for society in every way. If you are a man, make sure you know how to cherish the women around you, boost their confidence, make them happy, say thank you, whether it is your mother, sister, daughter, or wife.
“You educate a man; you educate a man. You educate a woman; you educate a generation.” – Brigham Young.
